Linda is Indonesia correspondent at The Straits Times. She has written stories about business, politics, social affairs and the environment since joining the newsroom in May 2018. Prior to that, she worked for more than eight years at Indonesia’s oldest English newspaper, The Jakarta Post, where she was deputy business editor. She earned her master’s degree in global political economy at the University of Sussex in Britain, funded by a Chevening scholarship.
