She has reported on consumer affairs for seven years, and writes a monthly column in The Sunday Times. Her stories have galvanised victims of timeshare scams to file lawsuits and the Consumers Association of Singapore to relook the consumer protection act. Her career has taken her from uncovering an illegal dormitory in a lifestyle hub to Thailand's rice fields. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison's school of journalism.
