SINGAPORE - The allure of new achievements with One Championship was what lured Demetrious Johnson, one of the greatest mixed martial arts (MMA) fighters of all time, to the Singapore-based promotion from American juggernaut Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

Johnson, who was the UFC's flyweight (up to 57kg) champion for 2,142 days, said: "I've accomplished everything I could there (in the UFC). I defended the belt 11 times. I've won fights in every way you can possibly think off - knockouts, submissions you've never seen before.
