It might be early in the year but I am declaring this my favourite exhibition of 2021. This revamp of the Goh Seng Choo Gallery is a smart and lyrical show which makes clever use of the Farquhar collection.

It is also a sterling example of how a museum can decolonise narratives and reclaim problematic colonial artefacts for fresh insights.
