Kevin is The Straits Times’ chief photojournalist. He joined ST in 2009 and has covered the 2013 Typhoon Haiyan’s aftermath in Tacloban, the 2014 Indonesian legislative election, and the 2015 crash of AirAsia Flight QZ8501. He also captured Joseph Schooling’s win at the 2016 Rio Olympics, Singapore’s first Olympic gold. Kevin’s coverage of the 2018 Trump-Kim summit in Singapore made Time magazine’s cover. The same year, he won SPH Media’s Journalist of the Year – a first for a photojournalist.
