SINGAPORE - Renowned for its stunning beaches and surf spots, Indonesia's resort island of Bali will soon boast an international hospital.

President Joko Widodo announced last month that the state-run Bali International Hospital, built in partnership with the US-based Mayo Clinic, would be operational by mid-2023 in the upscale Sanur area.
