Theresa Goh wakes up when it's still dark and knows the next 10 seconds are crucial. She wants to go back to sleep but if she stays awake past that window, getting ready for her morning training session is less of a struggle.

Sometimes she reminds herself of her goal, other times she thinks of her competitors and how they are training. And then, she drags herself out of bed.
