Gunners target Draxler wants out
BERLIN • Arsenal target Julian Draxler says he wants to leave Wolfsburg, just 12 months into his five-year contract. He also slammed the Bundesliga football club's coach and sports director.
The 22-year-old winger joined to much fanfare last August for €35 million (S$52.62 million) from Schalke, the club who nurtured him through their academy to become a Germany international.

Leicester sign Poland teenager Kapustka
LONDON • English Premier League football champions Leicester City signed winger Bartosz Kapustka from Polish club Cracovia for a reported £7.5 million (S$13.4 million) yesterday.
Kapustka, 19, agreed a five-year contract after impressing Foxes manager Claudio Ranieri with his international performances.

LONDON • Hull City may make Gianfranco Zola their new manager after an ambitious bid to recruit Chris Coleman was thwarted by the Football Association of Wales. Zola, a Chelsea star before managing West Ham and Watford, was sacked by Qatari club Al-Arabi in June and is believed to be keen on returning to the Premier League.

New roof ready for this month's US Open
NEW YORK • The US Tennis Association on Tuesday unveiled a retractable roof over Arthur Ashe Stadium in time for this year's US Open.
The roof is the flagship improvement in a US$600 million (S$804.73 million) upgrade of the USTA's Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.
