Singapore Athletics (SA) president Ho Mun Cheong will not seek to retain the top position at the upcoming election of the association's new leaders, but will instead run as an individual candidate for a management committee (MC) post.

Ho confirmed the news to The Straits Times yesterday, quelling speculation in the fraternity that he will lead a team in an attempt to retain the presidency.
