Football: Yasmin, 19, second female local to be offered sports scholarship in the US

SINGAPORE - When she first started playing football in January 2018, she never thought it would lead to her getting a scholarship to study abroad as she had no prior experience.

But last week, Yasmin Namira Mohammad Yusman became the second female footballer to earn a scholarship to study in the United States after national player Putri Nur Syaliza Sazali, who is studying at Cumberland University in Tennessee.
