HONG KONG (AFP) - Manchester United beat Kitchee 5-2 in a football friendly on Monday in Hong Kong.

Danny Welbeck, Chris Smalling, Fabio da Silva, and substitutes Adnan Januzaj and Jesse Lingard, scored for the English Premier League champions.

Lam Ka Wai and Alex Alkande put some respectability to the scoreline for the hosts.

Before arriving in Hong Kong, United had won one, drawn one and lost two in their pre-season tour that also took in Thailand, Australia and Japan.

Their next friendly is on Aug 6 in Sweden.
