SINGAPORE - Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) charges, which are reviewed on a quarterly basis to keep traffic running optimally on roads, will remain unchanged for the third quarter of this year.
Announcing this on Monday (July 27), the Land Transport Authority (LTA) said that the next review will take place in November.
The last ERP rate adjustment was made for the June school holidays, when charges were reduced by as much as $1 for selected expressways and roads. Gantry prices returned to pre-school holiday rates from June 29.
The LTA conducts quarterly reviews of ERP rates and adjusts them to ensure traffic speeds are kept at the optimal range of 45kmh to 65kmh for expressways, and 20kmh to 30kmh for arterial roads.
