Ms Kay Choi, 42, had never worked abroad before she took up an offer to move to Singapore and join Citi Asia Pacific's global consumer banking division in 2018.

So she was initially unsure if her move from Citibank Korea - where she had spent more than a decade - would be smooth-sailing.
