A crowd of 10,000 turned up at Sentosa yesterday afternoon to keep fit through a run, while grooving to their favourite beats.

Over 120 concert-quality speakers lined the 5km route of The Music Run, blasting out tunes such as Demons by Imagine Dragons and How Deep Is Your Love by Calvin Harris & Disciples.

The songs played were voted by the runners themselves through an online app.

The worldwide event - held in Singapore for the second year - is slated to be organised in 40 cities in 18 countries this year, with over 350,000 runners taking part in total. The Music Run was launched in Kuala Lumpur last year.
