The reception is part of the annual Public Service Month. The President hosted about 500 public officers from agencies across Singapore's public service, including winners of public service awards such as the PS21 Star Service Award and ExCEL Award. Mr Seng, Dr George and Mr Luda were lauded for the most innovative project/policy under the ExCEL Award category for their fish vaccine project.
