SINGAPORE - Mr Lee Kip Lee, the former president of The Peranakan Association Singapore and father of singer-songwriter Dick Lee, has died of kidney cancer at the age of 96.

The retired businessman died in hospital on Dec 29, 2018, and he was cremated on Wednesday (Jan 2).
