Singapore's ambition to put driverless cars on its roads is getting some propulsion from Chinese investors, including state-owned China Aerospace Science and Technology Corp.

In the coming months, a consortium comprising real estate firm CapitaLand, map service provider NavInfo DataTech and TPG Telecom will be putting in place infrastructure in Science Park 2 to test driverless cars over a 5G network.
