SGH Hepatitis C cluster update: 874 patients screened, no new positives

SINGAPORE - The Singapore General Hospital (SGH) has screened another 25 patients for hepatitis C. This brings the total number of patients screened so far, to 874 as of 1pm today, the hospital said in an update on Friday (Nov 6).

These patients had stayed in Wards 64A and 67, which were affected by the outbreak, from January to September this year.

Of the 849 patients, 817 were tested negative and 3 positive as announced earlier. 54 test results are pending, SGH said.

A total of 315 staff have been screened and all the results were negative.
