KOLKATA - The amur falcon is a rare and recent visitor to Singapore - the sighting of one in Lorong Halus on Nov 26 excited birders and even made it to the news.
These birds have been frequent fliers over north-eastern India for as long as anyone can remember, undertaking a gruelling annual transcontinental journey of over 22,000km.
