SINGAPORE - In a sea of young, lithe bodies, one ice skater clad in an eye-catching purple outfit stands out.
She is 86-year-old Dr Gin Lee Wee Kit, a regular at Kallang Ice World in Kallang Leisure Park.
The ex-general practitioner started ice skating at 48 when she joined her children in their ice skating lessons.
"I love it because it's so cool, and I like music and dancing. It's the music that attracts me and relaxes me. I would like to skate every day except Sunday when it's too crowded," says Dr Gin.
