Calling all women, you don't need to be perfect to lead

A friend recently told me that a woman at his workplace was not given a supervisory role because she did not - despite years of relevant work experience - give off "confident vibes".

She was well-liked by colleagues, had the right skills and expertise, and yet was passed over.
