When I left Singapore to work in Hong Kong in 2006, none of the extravaganza now at Marina Bay Sands existed and there were only two MRT lines.
It was exciting to return to a transformed nation in 2014 and my homecoming was brightened even more when I bonded with people from Singapore and elsewhere.
