THE AUTHORITY X INVENTORY LAUNCHES CAPSULE COLLECTION

Two home-grown menswear labels - Inventory and The Authority - have collaborated on a made-to measure collection of five everyday staples: an unlined bomber jacket, an overshirt (below), a double-placket shirt, slim-fit trousers and denim trousers.

All pieces from the collection will be available on a made-to-measure basis for a customised fit and length. The trousers and jackets are made with a mid-weight cotton and shoppers can choose from six colours, including navy, black and olive.

Orders will take a minimum of two weeks to be fulfilled. Prices range from $189 for a shirt to $249 for a jacket.

The capsule collection launches today at 7pm at The Authority, 03-03 Orchardgateway, 277 & 218 Orchard Road, tel: 8126-6343.

LANEIGE LAUNCHES MILKY WAY-INSPIRED COLLECTION

South Korean label Laneige has released a limited-edition sparkling collection of some of its signature products just ahead of the holiday season.

The Milkyway Fantasy Holiday Collection packages some of the brand's bestsellers, including its whitening BB cushion ($39, pictured) and moisturising sleeping mask ($48), in dreamy pink and blue containers awash with stars.

The collection also introduces two new colours ($34) to the brand's popular Two Tone Lip Bar range. Two new shades ($38) have been added to its Two Tone Shadow Bar range as well.

The latest lip bars, which feature a combination of high-gloss and semi-matte lipsticks, have a marbling effect. The brand says this helps to blend the colours on the lips to create a natural ombre look.

The Laneige Milkyway Holiday Collection is available at all Laneige boutiques and counters from today.
