NEW YORK • It feels like American actress Zoe Kravitz has always been famous - an indelible screen presence and iconic parents will do that - but for years, she has been on the fringes of the action, playing haunted supporting characters in epics such as Mad Max: Fury Road (2015) and the Divergent series (2014 to 2016).

But that has changed. She was in London recently shooting her biggest movie role to date: Selina Kyle - better known as Catwoman - in director Matt Reeves' The Batman.
