BANGKOK •The show goes on for K-pop star G-Dragon, even if he falls into a hole onstage.

That was what happened last Saturday when he was performing in Bangkok.

In videos shot by fans, the 28-year-old leader of popular South Korean boyband BigBang appeared to be unaware of the opening that was meant for a stage lift.

As he fell, fans screamed, but he soon re-emerged to complete the showcase at the Impact Arena.

According to Korean pop culture website Soompi, a representative from his agency YG Entertainment said the mishap happened because he was "so immersed in his performance".

"Thankfully, he landed upright on his feet so he didn't end up with any injuries. He said he could continue with the rest of his concert," the statement added.

G-Dragon, who performed at the Singapore Indoor Stadium last month, is on a solo world tour, which started on June 10 in Seoul.
