Thank you for the good read on the rise of independent bands and musicians in Singapore over the past few years (Golden Age For Indie Music, Life, July 1).

There are more than four independent electronic music labels here, and more local electronic producers and musicians than there were five years ago.

The indie hip-hop movement is gaining traction and local electronic producers have played shows with world-famous producers .

I hope Life will cover these alternative independent movements.
