Even with no new summer blockbusters opening over the weekend, Solo: A Star Wars Story still wobbled and could not gain altitude.

While it topped the box office for a second weekend, it sank 65 per cent from its debut, collecting only US$29.3 million (S$39 million) in theatres in the United States and Canada, ComScore estimated.


BTS concert tickets selling fast

Korean boyband BTS are getting plenty of love. Tickets have sold out for concerts in 10 cities in the European and North American legs of their upcoming Love Yourself world tour.

All 180,000 tickets for North America and 100,000 for Europe have been snapped up.


Linkin Park frontman to perform here

The frontman of American rock band Linkin Park, Mike Shinoda, is set to perform at Zepp @ BigBox Singapore on Aug 22. The show is part of a global tour to promote his upcoming debut solo album, Post Traumatic, due to be released on June 15. Early-bird tickets at $138 go on sale tomorrow at 10am via ticketing agent Ticketflap (www.ticketflap.com).
