Celine Dion's brother dies of cancer
Two days after her husband and manager Rene Angelil died of throat cancer, Canadian singer Celine Dion lost a brother to the same cancer last Saturday, a family spokesman said.
Daniel, the eighth of 14 siblings, was 59.
Angelil died last Thursday at age 73.
His funeral will be held on Friday at the Notre-Dame Basilica in Montreal where the couple married.
The following day, a memorial service will be held for her brother, with a formal funeral a few days after that, the spokesman said.
US rapper arrested for using 'world' passport
American rapper Mos Def appeared in a South African court last Friday after being arrested for allegedly using an illegal "world passport" as he tried to leave the country, officials said. The Department of Home Affairs said the 42-year-old entered the country with an American passport, but outstayed his visitor's permit. Bail was granted.
