Book Signing: Hello, My Name Is Joseph Schooling

Singapore's first Olympic champion Joseph Schooling will hold a book- signing event for his recently published book, Hello, My Name Is Joseph Schooling. The 96-page book features previously unpublished images of him and the people close to him, as well as short texts that he penned. All but one of the 60 images in the book were taken by veteran photojournalist Alvin Toh, who was given exclusive access to Schooling and his family on several occasions.

Strings Fantasy

International violin virtuoso Lu Siqing will collaborate with renowned cellist Qin Li Wei to perform masterpieces under the baton of Singapore Chinese Orchestra music director Yeh Tsung. The concert will feature three works by acclaimed Chinese composer Zhao Jiping. The orchestra will also perform symphonic poem The Celestial Web by Singapore artist Tan Swie Hian and music by home-grown composer Law Wai Lun.

Gone By, Just Before The Present Time

This exhibition by Singapore artists Chen Sai Hua Kuan and Wang Ruobing will feature the duo's use of optical illusions to explore memory, history and identity in Singapore. They aim for the works to interact with viewers through the phenomenon of double images, which arise from the multiple processing of images in the human visual system. The emphasis is on the ways in which images of the past change over time and how the past is used for progress.

Fate By Koh Hwee Khoon

This solo exhibition by the Singaporean artist features 20 vibrant acrylic paintings in whichhe showcases the journey of life using the arils in pomegranates. Each aril depicts the vitality and mysteries of life. The patterns of the fruit also reflect the energy flow in each life cycle.

Vastness - A Photography Exhibition

Vastness is photographer David Goh's artistic exploration and interpretation of Giuseppe De Giosa's art and textile collections.
