SINGAPORE - The exhibition Awakenings: Art in Society in Asia 1960s-1990s spotlights a turning point in Asia's post-war history where artists and the wider public used art to shape and assert their identities.

More than 140 provocative works by artists in Asia will go on display at the National Gallery Singapore from June 14 to Sept 15.
