SINGAPORE – If you are from a small country, people who do not know anything about you will make assumptions about who you are, Albanian author Lea Ypi says.

The professor of political theory at the London School of Economics is in Singapore for the first time, on a layover with her two young children before flying to Australia for a university engagement.
