It is time the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) set aside dedicated lanes for motorcyclists holding Singapore passports who ride to and from Johor Baru.
Currently, such motorcyclists have to squeeze in together with foreign-registered riders and, thus, have to brave the massive throngs of riders at the Woodlands and Tuas checkpoints.
As we celebrate Singapore's 50th year, the implementation of checkpoint lanes dedicated to Singaporean riders would instil a sense of pride among citizen-riders.
I trust that such an arrangement would not be difficult to implement.
