SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Thursday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,870.57 in early trade, up 0.28 per cent, or 8.19 points.
Around 47. 1 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 92 to 44.
