KUALA LUMPUR - A top-level change over the weekend at Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) has sparked concerns that Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin's government is set to overhaul laws that would rid the national corporation of its role as the sole custodian of Malaysia's hydrocarbon resources.
Mr Wan Zulkiflee Wan Ariffin, president and chief operating officer of Malaysia's only Fortune 500 listing entity, was reassigned as chairman of the country's beleaguered national carrier Malaysia Airlines, Mr Muhyiddin's office announced on Saturday (June 6).
