Boisterous cheers and singing broke the morning calm, as South Korean high school students taking the annual college entrance exam arrived at designated locations to see their juniors holding up banners and placards to spur them on.
In what is dubbed an "annual fuss", over half a million students sat this year's College Scholastic Ability Test yesterday at 1,190 locations - mostly high schools - around the country.
