HONG KONG - On Dec 19, the seventh Hong Kong Legislative Council (LegCo) elections since the handover of Hong Kong will be held. However, the enthusiastic and extensive campaigning for votes by various political parties before is nowhere to be seen, unlike in previous elections.

On a recent Sunday (Nov 28), many candidates vying for seats in the Hong Kong Island East geographical constituency set up street booths to canvass voters.
