The next-generation patrol craft from the Police Coast Guard (PCG) were commissioned on Thursday, 30 June 2022 by Mr K. Shanmugam, Minister for Home Affairs and Minister for Law, at PCG Brani Base. A total of three types of patrol craft were introduced, namely the 5th Generation PT class patrol craft, 3rd Generation PJ class patrol craft and 3-Series PC class patrol craft.
