Style Correspondent

Amanda has been a journalist with The Straits Times since 2019. As correspondent on the style beat, her passion lies in dissecting the latest fashion and beauty trends, telling brand stories, and helping consumers shop smart. She co-led a multimedia project on greenwashing in the fashion industry that won Gold at the 2023 Society for News Design’s Best of News Design Creative Competition. On occasion, she pens features on youth and popular culture. Outside work, her two greatest loves are travel and thrift shopping - which is great for her beat, but not for her wallet.
