SINGAPORE - National swimmer Joseph Schooling's confession that he took cannabis while in Hanoi to train and participate in the SEA Games was a shock, but the reactions online have been surprising.

Some described it as a lot of brouhaha over the use of marijuana, another name for cannabis, which they argued is a soft drug.
