SINGAPORE – Japanese fashion retailer Uniqlo on Sept 1 urged its Singapore customers to be wary of websites and text messages impersonating the brand.

In an Instagram post, Uniqlo Singapore said it had received reports from customers about fake websites and text messages.

“In the public’s best interest, we have taken steps to report these fraudulent accounts,” it said.

The brand also reminded customers to visit its official website, social media pages, job portals and platforms.

All Uniqlo Singapore job postings are published only on FastJobs – a job search platform for non-executive job seekers – and LinkedIn.

It added that e-mails to job applicants seeking a position at the company will be sent only from its official e-mail address:
