SINGAPORE - Mr Neo Kian Hong, the outgoing chief executive of transport group SMRT Corp, is on garden leave, effective from April 1.
Mr Neo, 57, resigned two weeks ago, and was to have stayed on till Oct 31 to see to a smooth transition for his replacement, Mr Ngien Hoon Ping, 52, a former chief executive of the Land Transport Authority.
