Three taken to hospital after accident on TPE; police investigations ongoing

SINGAPORE - Three men were taken to the hospital after an accident involving four cars on the Tampines Expressway on the morning of Jan 4.
A video posted on the Singapore roads accident.com Facebook page showed two stationary cars on the rightmost lane of an expressway, with debris strewn on both that lane and the one next to it.
The accident happened near the Halus Link exit of the expressway, towards Changi. Both the police and Singapore Civil Defence Force were alerted at around 9.30am.
A 28-year-old passenger and two drivers, aged 61 and 28, were conscious when taken to the hospital, said police, adding that investigations are ongoing.
In a Facebook post at 10.11am, Tower Transit Singapore advised commuters using its bus services 858 and 969 to expect a delay of 15 to 20 minutes due to an accident on TPE.
In an update at 12.47pm, the bus company said the traffic condition had returned to normal.
