SINGAPORE - One auspicious Toto ticket struck the jackpot of $7.88 million on Thursday (Sept 22) evening.

This is the third highest prize amount won with one Toto ticket this year.

There were no takers for the Group 1 prize money in the last three draws since Sept 12, and the amount snowballed to $7,884,082.

The winning numbers are 8, 11, 28, 34, 40 and 46. The additional number is 48.

The punter has to pick all six winning numbers to win the Group 1 prize.

The winning ticket is a "QuickPick System 8 Entry", which was bought at Tong Aik Huat, located at Block 685, Hougang Street 61.

It is not known if the ticket was bought by one person or shared among a few.

Seven tickets won the Group 2 prize, which requires punters to match five numbers and the additional number. Each winner takes home $100,715.

If there was no Group 1 prize winner at the end of four draws in a row, the final amount was to have been paid to the next prize group and shared among winners equally.

In February, one Toto ticket won more than $9.5 million, the largest amount ever won by a single punter. There was another win of more than $8 million in May.
