It will not be business as usual for the doctor who lost his defamation suit against a woman who had alleged that he took advantage of vulnerable female patients to have sex with them.
Dr Julian Ong will now have to share this piece of information with his patients and they have to give their consent to being treated by him. The arrangement must continue until the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) arrives at a decision on the complaint filed by the woman Dr Ong had sued for tarnishing his reputation.
