Doctor loses defamation suit against woman who named him in complaint

He was said to have colluded with another doctor to take advantage of vulnerable female patients

Dr Julian Ong Kian Peng, a surgeon in private practice, lost his defamation suit against a woman who had told others that he had colluded with another specialist to take advantage of vulnerable female patients "to satisfy their immoral desires".

His action against her was dismissed with costs on April 3 by District Judge Lynette Yap, who said the woman was justified in her claims.
