Chef of one-Michelin-starred Japanese restaurant Esora fired over mistreatment of staff

SINGAPORE - Esora, a one-Michelin-starred Japanese fine-dining restaurant in Mohamed Sultan Road, has fired its chef Shigeru Koizumi over multiple accounts of mistreatment against staff.

Esora said in an Instagram post on Monday (Jan 17) that the sacking came after an internal investigation. The same post was on Esora owner The Lo & Behold Group’s Instagram account.
