SINGAPORE - Mr Ramamirtham had been selling traditional South Indian food at a coffee-shop stall in Bukit Batok Street 31 for just over a year when Singapore was hit by the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020.

With his business badly affected, he decided to join the Community Development Council (CDC) Vouchers Scheme to get a much-needed boost for his business when approached by a CDC ambassador.
