A perfect balance on a handstand begins with getting the right entry. With my palms on the ground, I lift my right leg straight up in the air while my left leg gives a hop to bring my hips to stack above my shoulders.

More often than not, I overkick and either land my legs on the wall behind me, or if there is no wall, I bail out. But when muscle memory sets in, I find myself upside down, toes pointed like a ballerina doing a pointe.
