SEOUL (KOREA HERALD/ASIA NEWS NETWORK) - Song Joong Ki, 31, and Song Hye Kyo, 35, will be honeymooning in Europe after their wedding on Oct 31, according to reports on Monday (Oct 23).

The wedding is set to take place at 4pm at The Shilla Seoul's Yeong Bin Gwan, a Korean-style banquet annex.

Only friends and family members are invited.

A longtime friend of Song Joong Ki will officiate at the wedding, the reports said.

Singer-turned-musical actress Ock Joo Hyun, a longtime friend of Song Hye Kyo, will be singing at the wedding.

The celebrity couple met while filming last year's hit drama series Descendants Of The Sun.

He played special forces captain Yoo Si Jin, while she played doctor Kang Mo Yeon.

Their marriage plans had been announced by their agencies in July.

Song Joong Ki had bought a two-storey house with a basement in the wealthy neighbourhood of Itawon-dong for 10 billion won (S$12million) in January.

It may be the couple's new address.

Rumours of their romance had spread in March last year before Descendants Of The Sun's finale, after they were spotted dining in New York City.

However, both of them denied the rumours.

As recent as June this year, they had also denied reports that they had gone on a trip to Bali together.
