SINGAPORE – After exiting Singapore four years ago, South Korean burger and fried chicken chain Mom’s Touch will make a comeback on Aug 14.

The 96-seat restaurant is located at mixed development 18 Cross, a stone’s throw from Chinatown and Telok Ayer Street.

Established in 2004, the chain has more than 1,500 stores across seven countries, including Laos, Japan and Mongolia.

The chain, operated by No Signboard Holdings’ subsidiary Hawker QSR, debuted in Singapore in 2019 at Paya Lebar Quarter before opening two more branches at The Centrepoint and Eastwood Centre in Bedok. All three outlets shut in February 2022

This time, its return is with the FairPrice Group – with a master franchise agreement to open up to 25 stores over the next 10 years. There are also plans to obtain halal certification.

On the menu: Singapore-exclusives and more

Headlining the launch are new Singapore-exclusive items including the Super Thigh Chicken Burger ($9.95, available for a limited time), which features a crispy chicken patty smothered in a Singapore-style pepper sauce.

To complete a meal, add $2.50 for a side of Cajun fries, coleslaw or corn and a soft drink.

Drink options include Banana Milk Coffee ($4.95, limited time only), as well as iced Americano (from $2.95) and iced teas (from $2.95).
